8-bit was a bit far from my childhood days. But as a Megaman fan, I remember actually exchanged (temporarily) my SNES for a NES just to play Megaman 1-6. Yes, I was crazy.
But now Capcom decided to create a “sequel”, and their artistic direction went retro.
To me, the graphical change is irrelevant, since I have zero nostalgic feeling for 8-bit. But the 8-bit music is very nice, and the overall look is not bad. Too bad that our Blue Bomber will be missing his Power Slide and Mega Buster Charge.
Still, it’s only available as WiiWare, and I can’t wait to get this game.
I’ve returned. Need I say more?
On a related note, the Olympics have arrived. With all the excitement and buzz around this year’s Olympics, I’ve decided to participate in this year’s Olympic games! How would you do that, you ask? Will I sneak in? Impersonate another athlete?
Well, I’ll do it by playing this game.
This game actually came out a year ago. So I decided to try this game at a local store just for this occasion. And I played it. For about 5 minutes.
Good thing I did not buy this advertiseme…err game. But I do find it amusing to see this game in the bargain bin, and then it suddenly and mysteriously migrates back to the main shelf.
